Liquid Diet For Weight Loss

In case of incorporating a weight loss diet program, there are certain factors that an overweight individual must bear in mind. It is necessary for him to note that all the weight loss diets that claim to cause rapid and quick weight loss are not always effective in providing long term results and it has also been noted in various cases that weight gain has been consequent immediately after this diet program has been discontinued. Moreover, some of the diet programs refuse to provide nutrition and nourishment to the body and in these cases while weight loss is apparent, the body also loses much of its vital nutrients which can greatly affect its functioning in due course. Therefore one must be wary of these consequences and then choose a weight loss diet that suits his body type. The liquid diet has been a popular mode of losing weight for several centuries. It is quite a well-known fact that the liquid diet is popularly used in hospitals to treat patients after some major operation to enable the proper functioning of the digestive system after the operation. This liquid diet has great healing effects in such cases and the consumption of food in liquid form has also ensured effective and rampant weight loss. But it is to be pointed out here that while liquid diets may result in fast weight loss, it may also lead to several side effects like for example difficulties in the functioning of the kidneys and also the leg muscles and the heart muscle. Therefore it is usually advised by experts that those opting for a liquid diet in order to lose weight may continue this form of dieting over a short period of time so that there are lesser negative effects on the mode of functioning of the body.

The liquid diet in general involves liquid foods which are transparent in nature like water. A clear liquid diet thus comprises of food items like water and thin broth and it must to be pointed out here that there are very few food options which can be incorporated as a part of the clear liquid diet. A possible alternative is the full liquid diet and it is more preferable as it involves the consumption of any food item that has been pureed and strained by means of using a strainer. Therefore, in case of full liquid diets, there are no restrictions and various food items like eggs and meat can be consumed but only after being pureed with the help of a strainer.

    i’ve been on a liquid diet now for about 4-5 days… i eat veggies, and fruit! and lots of water.. and coffee b/c i like coffee and it’s a liquid lol.. for protein i eat beans like green beans and lima beans, and kidney beans. Thats bout all i eat and i excercise when ever i can maybe a hour walk, but being i live on a farm and theres lots of work to be done i do lots of lifting and digging and yard work so i do my best in pysical activities. i’m 16 yrs old, female. 5′4… i doubt im gonna get taller and i aint fat, or chubby i’m average lol.. but i went on this diet b/c springs here and summers coming i wanna look hptter in my bikini, i’m a virgo. i always struggel in any diet and i am doing my best to stick to this diet. I am very scared i wanna look great, i know after my diet i could regain all this back but i also do know.. once i get to my desireable weight and size, i aint going back to regular eating habits. i plan on low calorie foods, skim milk, smaller portions, and healthy foods! and of course excercise, i hope i can accomplish this, it’s mainly my everyday thing so if i lose lots of weight, i’ll give you my feedback. i’m a size 8-9 med. so… and if i choose my after lifestyle… once i finish my liquid diet and get super HOt haha i’ll tell u what works for me. and if i gain i’ll let you know :)
