Fiber: Acts as the Natural Fat Blocker

Pectin is easily available in some of the fruits such as the pears, bananas, grapefruit, oranges and the apples. Another good thing about the fiber is that since it is water soluble it can easily slow down the absorption of the glucose. This simply means that if a person is suffering from the problem of diabetes of type-2 then he can easily attain benefit out of it because a diet rich in fiber helps in curing the diabetes.
