<p>The plus side of this diet is the fact that it involves a simple point system versus counting calories. The main focus is on portion control, and they do offer quite a bit of food alternatives-tens of thousands of items in all.</p>
<p>In addition, they offer over 1,000 recipes. This is great news for many people, but often people have complained that these diets are expensive. </p>
<p>Furthermore, some people who are looking for a quicker solution might be disappointed that this diet takes so long. Additionally, they may be very discouraged that an exercise program may also be recommended to speed along the process.</p>
<p>However, most people find this particular plan very easy to follow. They might even take meal plan suggestions from this program and use them to make complete dinners.</p>
<p>Many people have lost weight on this program, up to 100 pounds. However, keep in mind that they followed this program for a year or longer in order to reach that weight goal. </p>

Cocoa used to make chocolate is filled with a high amount of antioxidants which can help built up your immune system and also can keep you from being sick.</p>
<p>Furthermore, eating a small amount of chocolate can actually help keep your blood pressure down.  As a result, it can help reduce risk of heart disease and other serious cardio vascular problems. </p>
<p><strong><strong><strong>Cons</strong></strong></strong></p>
<p>There is no clear indication that using chocolate shakes and other diet products can help speed up your metabolism-or at least not on its own.  You need to remember to exercise regularly and eat other foods that promote good health, such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables that are higher in fiber. </p>
<p>Furthermore, many chocolate products that are sold nowadays contain quite a bit of fat and calories. On the other hand, there are certain products geared towards people wanting to lose weight. Nonetheless, you need to be careful when relying upon a diet such as this. </p>

<p>The claim is of course that extensive scientific research backs this program. That could be true, and while some people rated this product four stars some people have only rated it one star.</p>
<p>One of the main complaints is that this product is far too pricey. Another person just simply indicated that it did not work as well as expected.</p>
<p>So why the discrepancy?</p>
<p>That is a very good question. Part of the complaint about the fact that this diet does not work is the fact that it is not the easiest to follow. This is probably a very important key to the entire situation.</p>
<p>In addition, other people have found some degree of success. However, they may be frustrated with or not agree with various aspects of the diet, such as when meal times should be scheduled. Of course, no diet should be used without doctor’s supervision.</p>

<p>Well, one advantage is that you get a counselor who works with you on an individual basis. This is a plus as these workers were ones who had experienced the LA Weight Loss Program in the past.</p>
<p>The downside is that the people who work for this company, albeit formally trained, may not necessarily be schooled nutritionists. Some people say that this program is very expensive too in comparison to the competition.</p>
<p>Yet, it does help people who are struggling with portion control. It also helps people plan recipes and meals. Of course, the only catch is that users are often pushed into purchasing only the product line that the company sells but it is not absolutely necessary. </p>

<p> Do you know that you can reduce your weight by drinking water? Well, it seems strange but there has been scientific evidence that drinking water could help you lose weight. There are many people who never agree with people losing weight drinking water. Researchers in Germany reported that water consumption helps to increase the rate at which body burn calories. Now let us have a look at how could water reduce your weight. </p>
<p>Burns calories</p>
<p>The researchers estimated that a person who goes for increasing his water consumption by 1.5 liters a day would help his body to burn an extra 17,400 calories and that comes to a weight loss of approximately five pounds. Sounds interesting, right? It is seen that there are many weight loss plan that encourages people to drink more water with the belief that the gut is filled by the liquid thereby making people feel fuller. </p>
<p>When you begin taking enough water, your body starts dropping weight, possibly more than 4 pounds in the very first week. You should know that water contains zero calories. So you can drink as much water as you wish and this would not help you to gain weight in any way. Water too flushes out your system which would thereby help wit your overall weight loss plan. If you consume 8 glasses of cold fresh water per day, it will have a very good effect on your weight loss efforts and you would be able to see results in a few weeks. </p>
<p>Avoid sugary drinks</p>
<p>When we say that drinking water helps you to lose your weight, it does not mean that you can have fruit juice with added sugars, soda, and alcoholic drinks like beer and wine…etc. This is mainly because these type of liquids contain anywhere from 100 to 350 calories per serving. So this is the main reason why you should always try to avoid these drinks if you wish to lose your weight. </p>
<p>Also try to have more nutritious foods throughout the day and try to get at least 30 minutes of light exercise and that too at least four times a week. When you exercise, your body becomes thirsty due to which you need to consume more water. The more water you consume, the more weight you are able to reduce.  So the next time if somebody asks you if water can lose weight, you can definitely say, “yes.” </p>

<p> One thing that you should understand before trying to lose weight is that losing weight and losing fat is not the same. You losing weight do not actually mean that you lose fat. Here is something to help you explain the phenomenon of weight loss vs fat loss.</p>
<p> The food you eat has calories most of which are used by the body to gain energy for work. When you intake more calories than what you actually need then they accumulate in your body as fat. However, not taking enough calories will result in losing energy along with the excessive weight. </p>
<p>People believe when the calories you intake are not enough the body starts to consume the stored fat to deal with the energy deficiency. Unfortunately, it is not true; the body actually uses the proteins and carbohydrates supplying the main energy.</p>
<p>The proteins and carbohydrates are taken from your muscle cells. The loss of carbohydrates and proteins result in the reduction of the muscle mass. This in turn will affect your metabolism and will lower it down.  Due to this your body will need less energy to maintain its lower weight caused by the loss of muscles. Therefore the body saves the metabolism by slowing it down. This means that you will not lose any weight any further because the body would have adapted itself to its new body weight. </p>
<p>The weight that you will lose in the first placed is actually water weight. This you will gain back in the form of fat and not as muscles. You will have to rebuild you muscles if you want them back. If you are not ready to give enough energy to your, it will continue to feed on your muscles in a much quicker fashion.</p>
<p> So the right thing to do is to eat really healthy food. Remember when you do not eat enough calories you will end up losing muscles and will dehydrate yourself. Your fat will burn slowly and your body will end up adapting to a lower calorie intake.</p>
<p>When you will not be able to maintain the similar calorie intake for the rest of your life, the problem will start showing its ugly face. Slowly but surely you will end up gaining your weight back. So when you will stop starving you will again balloon up to your past size. </p>
