Hence parents should keep a control on their children and give them junk food only on special occasions. Normally, children should be given home cooked meal, which is high on nutritional value. Encourage kids to play outdoor games like cricket, basketball, football etc. Discourage them from playing computer games, television etc. There should be timetable for children to watch television and computer games. They should be made compulsory to go out and play outdoor games. Also they should do regular exercise and keep themselves active and fit. Exercise is another important factor in fighting the child obesity trend. Between the television, computers and video games, there are plenty of inactive activities that attract our kids’ attention today. |
