One should do a lot of exercise as it can prevent a lot of health problems that can cause serious concern later on. Treatment of colon cancer depends on the stage of it. It one caught it at earlier stage then the chances of its cure being successful are much higher as compared to the chances when it is at later stages. Surgery is the primary treatment for this problem although radiotherapy or chemotherapy may also be recommended but it all depends on the stage of the cancer. Surgery for this problem can be categorized in curative, bypass, open-and-close, palliative or fecal diversion. An early stage cancer that developed within polyp can be easily treated by just removing polyp. Chemotherapy is used to reduce the size of tumor or slowing the growth.
