Abdominal fat
Abdominal fat does not need to be described. It is generally known as pot bellied, apple shaped body, etc., and has been around for quite a while. So everyone knows what it is generally. But what is not really known is that this abdominal fat is a symptom of a disease known as overweight and in the extreme it is obese.
Obesity is known to be the second largest cause of death in the US of A. In other countries, it is much more. Being overweight, or obese, is a disease, and its control is necessary. Why? You just can't afford to ignore it.
Today there is a good tool, not perfect, of course which helps your physician to ascertain whether you are overweight for your age and height, and what steps should be taken if you are. Generally, this involves two simple things. If your waist circumference is more than 40 as a male you are overweight. In women it should be less than 35.
There are so many ways to increase your physical activity. This is the best method and the ideal way to get rid of those extra girdles around your waist! Walk, Walk, as much as you can. Slowly increase it as you feel better. Try aerobics, if you want. Join a gym and use the walker, the bike or whatever is recommended. It's tough at first, but it gets easier as you go along. So take heart, not weight, and do it right away. Don't procrastinate! Your friends are going to be surprised when you remove the suspender from your body, and use belts on your trousers. Boy, are you going to create a sensation! And ladies, don't be surprised by the looks you get when you walk, and men taking off their hats.
Instead of fried food, try boiled or steamed green leafy vegetables. Take fish, lean meat, poultry food, low fat content food stuffs, low fat or fat free milk and milk products. Incidentally today you can get your own food of choice with lesser calories and fat. They have put it right there on the label. You just have to grab them.
