Fast Food and Obesity

The trend of eating fast food is increasing day by day. A fifteen year old study has confirmed that fast food is not good for health as it leads to many diseases. Different studies have been conducted on the consumption of the fast food which clearly indicates that it leads to obesity. Fast food frequently leads to obesity resulting million of people throughout the world, but its likely cause has not been explained clearly. According to medical research council report fast food contains much more calories than normal food. A fast food has a density of about-1100 KJ per 100 grams sixty five percent higher than a British diet and almost twice high than other healthy diets. Man ate more calories than they are needed and are unable to reduce the portion size. We all are born with a weak ability to absorb the food with high energy density. We generally take our meal depending upon their size. Our bodies are never designed to absorb the high calorie food and thus it leads to obesity. Fast food companies can also help in controlling the obesity. There is a tremendous increase in the rates of insulin and obesity over the last fifteen years. This too is also as a result of the consumption of the fast food and vice versa.

Obesity is found more in children in comparison to adults. We all know that what obesity is? But how can we know that we are obese, what are the causes of obesity and how we can prevent it.

The treatment of obesity does not involve any diet. It is the combination of taking care of the food we eat, making necessary changes to our lifestyle and in some cases through medical or surgical interruptions.

Effects of Obesity

Obesity not only affects a person’s physical health but also leads to depression and to a great extent effects its psychological and emotional health. Difficulty in breathing and heart problems are the main cause of obesity.

Obesity and Cancer

A regular exercise and a proper diet help to prevent the cancer to a great extent. According to various studies conducted by several health institutes obese people have more danger of having breast, kidney and colon cancer.

The first thing you must consider that there is no 1 minute solution to obesity. There are no medicines that will help you to get rid of it with a question of time. Also none of the gym instruments such as rollers, abs rockers, or any belt will help you to get rid of it. Obesity can’t be reduced by using any of the above. The best way to get rid of it is to have a proper nutritious food instead of going for a junk food.
