Obesity Virus
Obesity has become one of the prime concerns for people all round the globe. While lack of exercise or having too much of fast food can be good enough reasons, we cannot now, not deny the role played by obesity viruses in our bodies. If you will believe in the latest reports, about ninety percent of our body contains cells that are foreign to our system. These comprise of bacteria, viruses and protozoa to which scientists collectively refer to as obesity viruses.
Obesity viruses are mainly found in the groin and armpit though they can also be traced in other parts of the body like the nose, ears and the mouth. But the favorite place for the obesity viruses is the gut or stomach and for those who are on an obesity risk, we definitely need to concentrate on this certain aspect. Generally the gut obesity viruses are the micro flora that scientists have recognized to act on behalf of our body cells for digestion that we could not possibly carry out by ourselves, in the form of clustered colonies. Major functions carried out by the gut micro flora include creation of blood vessels and capillaries lining the path to our intestines, vitamins K, thiamine and pyroxidine. They also create enzymes that are required to digest bile acids and cholesterol. Besides, digesting of plant fibers in fruits and vegetables are possible due to this micro flora- digesting such fibers would e otherwise impossible. Having said all that, the question boils down to why this micro flora will induce obesity? The reason is that these organisms digest the food and transfer the calories from the food to the fat cells. This as obvious, increases levels of fat in our bodies, making us obese.
As you may think this is a big hoax, we would invite you to experiment this fact. According to experimental scientific revelations, mice that were free from the germ remained thin even after consuming thirty percent more food than the mice, which had germs. No wonder obese people end up being jealous of lean people who perhaps consume double the amount that they consume and yet stay put at being lean.
An important observation was made when the gut of germ free mice were replaced by the gut from mice that had contracted the germ. Perhaps quite expectedly the germ free, so long thin mice started gaining weight, living with germ contracted gut as the calories started getting in to the fat cells of the body.
A very important name among the group of micro flora is the adenovirus Ad- 36. This is the most popular obesity virus and indeed if you catch the virus you will have woes over the weighing machine. Blood tests have yielded the result that obese people have more of Ad- 36 than thin ones. If you are worried about you having the Ad- 36 virus, do not panic and go to your physician who has an antibody test for your blood that will wash away your doubts!
