Does Advocare Carb-Ease Really Work?
Back in the 90’s, low carb diets were all the rage. If you didn’t know someone using a low carb diet, I would be sincerely surprised, and I would have to conclude that you must have lived in a cave with Saddam Hussein or something.
Low carb diets were popular once upon a time. But it’s hard to restrict yourself to nothing but meats and vegetables with the occasional serving of fruit, which is why we created products like Advocare Carb-Ease, to make a difficult diet easier to follow and maximize the results even when we mess up! Carb blockers supposedly block carbs from being absorbed into the body while suppressing cravings. But not all carb blockers are created equal.
Key Ingredients Used
L-arabinose – A common blood glucose controller, this can help to control cravings and spikes or drops in blood glucose. It can make low carb diets easier to follow.
Gymnema extract – One of the most popular carb blockers, this has been used to control cravings, and in the right combination, it can contribute to fat burning.
Dry bean extract – Studies have been conducted to see if dry bean extract is capable of blocking carbs. But it has not been positively shown to have any effect.
Hibiscus extract – Used to promote relaxation and better sleep, hibiscus is not known for its amazing fat burning or weight loss properties.
Green tea extract – Green tea extract is easily considered to be the most popular fat burner, which also has powerful antioxidant benefits. But it requires at least 400mg, and it can come with certain side effects.
Apple extract – Apple can promote appetite suppression when eaten. But a pill and artificial extract is just not the same. It does not help users to lose weight.
Conclusion
Advocare Carb-Ease sounds like a good idea. It’s not exactly stimulant free, considering the use of green tea. But Advocare Carb-Ease does not have the clinically proven ingredients for carb blocking, and because Advocare Carb-Ease does not disclose the amounts, I can also safely say that Advocare Carb-Ease does not have the clinically proven amounts, even of green tea, which only requires 400mg. Advocare Carb-Ease could cause caffeine side effects, which is pretty uncommon for a carb blocker. But weight loss is not likely.
