EverSlim Reviews

Does EverSlim Really Work?

EverSlim

Most products come and go. But once you’ve hit the eBay only sales, you’re done for. It means that sellers who have extra stock are just trying to get rid of it. The EverSlim website is gone, out of order, however you want to put it, and this always means the same thing. EverSlim failed to help consumers to lose weight and charged way too much. But just in case you’re still thinking about buying a deeply discounted bottle of EverSlim, take a look at the ingredients and see if you think it’s worth even $20.

Key Ingredients Used

Garcinia cambogia – Garcinia cambogia is one of the best and the trickiest products to use. On one hand, it has been clinically proven to burn fat. But to get fat burning results, you need at least 1500mg, which the high majority of products won’t use.

Gymnema sylvestre – Gymnema sylvestre is found in both the daytime and nighttime formulas, and it has been used to control blood sugar. This could be helpful for people with diabetes as well as people who want to fight sugar cravings. But it does not actually help you to lose weight.

Griffonia simplicifolia seed – More commonly known as 5-HTP, this is primarily a mood lifter. It does not actually promote weight loss results according to any reports.

Soy phospholipids – Soy phospholipids have been used to mimic the effects of estrogen while also improving heart health. Men shouldn’t take it, because soy has been linked to lower rates of fertility and other problems in men. Women seem to see the best benefits.

Phosphatidylethanolamine Phosphatidylethanolamine has been compared to other popular phosphatidyl compounds such as phosphatidylcholine in the fact that it is found in certain parts of the body. But it does not actually promote any weight loss results.

Phosphatidylserine – Most experts say that Phosphatidylserine might improve memory and cognition while also fighting the symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. But it does not promote weight loss in any form.

Phosphatidylcholine – Used in injections referred to as “lunchtime lipo”, this substance has never actually been proven to have anything to do with weight loss. It is thought of as a nutritional supplement, but that’s about it.

Green tea extract – Green tea extract is of course the most popular fat burner and antioxidant combination, and it has been known for many fat burning and health related studies. But it requires about 400mg to produce these effects, which EverSlim does not have.

Caffeine anhydrous- Caffeine anhydrous has been popularly used to burn fat, and caffeine is technically the basis of most popular fat burners. But like green tea, you would have to have at least 400mg, which EverSlim does not.

Valerian extract – Valerian extract has been used to relax the mind and promote better sleep, and it has been proven to do this in various clinical studies.

Melatonin – A naturally occurring chemical in the brain, low melatonin levels have been connected to higher rates of insomnia. Supplementing with just 1-2mg a night seems to be effective in promoting better sleep.

Chamomile – Chamomile has been used by many to promote greater rates of relaxation.

Passionflower – Passionflower is commonly used to promote sleep and relaxation, which is why it is used in the nighttime blend.

Conclusion

EverSlim technically has/had clinically proven ingredients both to promote better weight loss during the day and better sleep at night, with 2 different formulas. But there’s no plausible reason for EverSlim to use most of the ingredients found in the 2 blends. Half of the ingredients haven’t been proven to do much of anything, and there’s no connection to the “special needs” of new mothers, which is why EverSlim didn’t make it.

EstroThin Reviews

Does EstroThin Really Work?

EstroThin

EstroThin is one of the few menopause supplements. There are plenty of diets from startlets of old like Suzanne Somers. But while certain diets (unless rich in soy) have not been proven to be particularly effective in menopausal women, there are diet pill ingredients that have. In other words, if done right with clinically proven ingredients, EstroThin could work.

Key Ingredients Used

Eleuthero root – Also known as Siberian ginseng, this can promote fat burning and a generalized feeling of wellbeing. But it requires about 400mg just like any other form of caffeine.

Schizandra berry – It has been used to nourish the kidneys in various Asian cultures. But it should not be used in pregnant women, and it has never actually been proven to promote weight loss.

Green tea extract – Green tea extract is widely known for its fat burning and antioxidant properties. But like eleuthero, you would need at least 400mg.

Rhodiola rosea – Rhodiola rosea can increase energy levels without actually burning fat. It’s one of the few stimulants that does that.

Garcinia cambogia – Garcinia cambogia is a stimulant free fat burner that has been used in many popular supplements. But it does not actually work unless you use at least 1500mg, which is obviously a lot more than EstroThin uses.

Chinese ginseng – Chinese ginseng is widely known for its ability to burn fat and improve feelings of wellbeing. But it does not burn fat.

Stevia – A newly popular artificial sweetener, stevia could, like any artificial sweetener, actually contribute to obesity.

Black cohosh root – This has certain estrogenic activity, and it has been used as an anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, astringent, and more.

Dong quai root – Dong quai has been used to treat amenorrhea, heart disease, and high blood pressure. But there is no real evidence to show that it works. However, it does seem to show in conflicting studies, that it might fight menopause symptoms.

Chaste tree berry – Some believe that this can reduce problems with breast tenderness. But this has not been proven.

Yerba mate, guarana, and damiana – This particular combination has been used to slow gastric emptying keep you full for longer. But it menopausal women, it seems to be completely ineffective.

Wild yam root – also known as colic root, wild yam has been used to alleviate menopause, osteoporosis, and high cholesterol. But the studies are still questionable.

Conclusion

EstroThin has ingredients that could fight the symptoms of menopause, which might include weight gain. It has clinically proven fat burners, and while one combination is technically proven ineffective in this particular group, that is outweighed by all of the valid and clinically proven weight loss ingredients. But because EstroThin uses a small bottle of a liquid formula, it has proven that it does not have the clinically proven amounts, meaning no results.

Celsius Energy Drink Reviews

Does Celsius Energy Drink Really Work?

Celsius Energy Drink

Celsius Energy Drink, is it like Red Bull or one of those other popular energy drinks? That’s what I thought at first. But of course, the site proves that assumption wrong. Celsius Energy Drink is described as a powerful weight loss supplement and fat burner powered by “MetaPlus”, a made up name that you will only find in the Celsius Energy Drink. But fancy names aside, the main idea is that the Celsius Energy Drink will increase metabolism.

Key Ingredients Used

Taurine – Taurine is an amino acid used in a lot of energy drinks, because it does increase energy without actually using caffeine.

Guarana – Guarana has been introduced by some as a powerful fat burner. But studies have shown that guarana has no fat burning benefits, even though it does have caffeine.

Green tea – Green tea has been used by many to burn fat with extra healthy antioxidant benefits. If a company uses at least 400mg, it can promote powerful effects. But most products, like Celsius Energy Drink, do not use that much, still ironically causing the caffeine related side effects.

Caffeine – Caffeine is the most powerful base of a lot of ingredients. Caffeine is the reason why teas burn fat (green tea, black tea, oolong tea, etc.), and it can also increase energy. But in order to burn fat, you would need at least 400mg.

Glucuronolactone – Glucuronolactone has been used as a caffeine free way to increase natural energy levels, mostly for workouts.

Ginger root extract – Ginger root is commonly used to reduce digestive upset, and it can calm an upset stomach.

Conclusion

If we were evaluating the Celsius Energy Drink as an energy drink, then great. But Celsius dug its own grave, especially with all of the talk about fat burning, metabolism, etc. Yes, Celsius Energy Drink has enough caffeine to create an energy drink. That’s not that hard. But makers were trying to come up with a reason for you to buy more cans each time while paying more per can. It’s just that simple.

I don’t necessarily see Celsius Energy Drink as something that you should avoid like the plague. Just take anything that makers say with a grain of salt and take Celsius Energy Drink for what it is, an energy drink and nothing else.

Glucosulin Reviews

Does Glucosulin Really Work?

Glucosulin Reviews

EAccording to the Glucosulin website, blood sugar controls everything, at least when it comes to weight loss, creating a sort of domino effect. Carbs lead to blood sugar spikes, blood sugar spikes and sugar all together leads to weight gain which leads to insulin production which leads to problem with obesity and blood glucose control. But when you balance blood sugar, and of course when you limit your carbs, you stop this from happening.

“The search is over!” Glucosulin keeps it simple, effective, and above reproach for just $49.98. Wait, that’s what most diet pills cost. But if it works, that’s still a reasonable price. It all depends on the ingredients.

Key Ingredients Used

Glucomannan – Glucomannan acts as a natural fiber and appetite suppressant, supposedly blowing up in the stomach while also promoting regularity. But to get this clinically proven effect, you would need at least 1000mg.

Sodium alginate – A natural electrolyte, sodium can replace electrolytes lost during workouts. But it does not promote weight loss.

Xanthan gum – Commonly used as a preservative and thickener, but it does not have anything to do with weight loss.

Mulberry extract – Rich in healthy antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, mulberry does not actually promote weight loss.

Gymnema sylvestre – Gymnema sylvestre is a natural way to control blood sugar levels, allowing you to control cravings. But doing this does not promote weight loss on its own.

Chromium picolinate – Like gymnema sylvestre, this can control blood sugar, therefore helping you to control cravings. But it does not actually do it on its own.

Conclusion

Glucosulin’s main focus is on controlling glucose, which in this case is perfectly reasonable. It extends itself to weight loss. But if you lose weight, it’s more of a happy side effect because of the fact that Glucosulin does not have the clinically proven amounts of actual weight loss ingredients like glucomannan.

Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat Reviews

Does Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat Really Work?

Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat

Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat comes from Jackie Warner, one of the better known workout professionals capitalizing on the idea that it is the ultimate diet and exercise plan that generally costs most consumers $400 or more a month! But obviously, the idea is that you get a bargain price.

Who is Jackie Warner?

Everybody claims to be the ultimate celebrity trainer. But Jackie Warner actually owns a gym in Beverly Hills called Sky Sport & Spa. She has 8 pack abs according to rumors, even though she claims it to be 6 pack only. But some say that she has one of the best bodies in Hollywood, meaning she obviously knows a little something about how diet and exercise works. So how does all of this work?

The Diet

The Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat focuses on the idea of no calorie counting and easy dieting according to some claims, encouraging cheat meals (once a week). Technically, Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat does limit you to a 1500 calorie diet. But that’s more than the average.

But the biggest restriction is the low carb aspect. Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat claims that fat is not the enemy, and if you’re talking about good fats, I agree. Most experts do. Obviously, all of the criticism of the Atkins Diet shows that bad fat is still bad fat. But even though Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat does not directly refer to itself as a low carb diet, technically saying that sugar is the enemy does have the same effect. So what about this “amazing” workout plan?

The Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat Exercise Program

The Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat DVD program includes the:
• Total body circuit – 15 minutes
• Abs only circuit – 15 minutes
• Lower body circuit – 15 minutes
• Upper body circuit – 15 minutes
• Total body circuit – 15 minutes

If most of this is cardio, then it might work to burn fat. But somehow, I doubt that it is. And any 15 minute workout, at least on its own, is not nearly enough to make a serious difference.

Conclusion on Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat

Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat may adhere to a certain basic standard. Technically, it does offer a diet and exercise program, which is pretty common. Or at the very least, the diet plan is relatively common, it’s a low carb approach. But bottom line, the exercise plan is a little questionable, and the price is a little questionable considering the things that you are actually getting.

D-Fine 8 Reviews

Does D-Fine 8 Really Work?

D-Fine 8

D-Fine 8 is sold by MuscleWerks, and it almost seems to be disappearing, or maybe it’s just making its initial debut. Who knows. Either way, the only sellers I found for D-Fine 8 were on eBay, Amazon, or some other popular auction site. It generally sells for about $64.99, which is a bit high, especially for an auction site product. But if D-Fine 8 has the right formula in this powder form, there’s no reason not to pay a little more for a high quality approach.

Key Ingredients Used

Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) – CLA has been pushed as a natural fat burner. But in studies, even being a good fatty acid, it wasn’t even proven to promote healthy cholesterol lowering benefits. It definitely did not promote weight loss.

Hoodia Gordonii – Some believe that hoodia is a powerful appetite suppressant. But all studies on hoodia have shown that it has no known benefits.

Synephrine – Synephrine is mostly pushed as the alternative to ephedrine. It seems to burn fat, suppress appetite, and increase energy. But it requires about 250mg.

Caffeine (from Guarana Seed) – Caffeine generally burns fat. But for whatever reason, guarana does not, no matter how much you use leading to the conclusion that even the caffeine in guarana alone does not actually burn fat.

Dandelion Leaf Extract – Dandelion leaf extract has been used to detox in some cases and as a diuretic in others. In order to get the more beneficial detoxifying effect, you would have to have the right amounts and a good combination of ingredients that D-Fine 8 doesn’t have.

Green Tea Extract – Green tea is by far one of the most popular options in fat burners or weight loss supplements. But it does not actually work unless you are using at least 400mg. And even with smaller amounts, it can still cause caffeine related side effects.

Conclusion

D-Fine 8 has ingredients that can promote weight loss, and it has an easy to swallow powder formula. But by using a proprietary blend, D-Fine 8 does not use the clinically proven amounts. In other words, D-Fine 8 can still cause side effects, because it does have 2 forms of caffeine. But D-Fine 8 has way too many problems, meaning you would be better off using other options.

TheraSlim Reviews

Does TheraSlim Really Work?

TheraSlim

TheraSlim is not the first to go down this road of supposedly blocking carbs and therefore helping you to lose weight while following a low carb diet of course. The idea is that TheraSlim has a safe and yet effective formula that will help you to eliminate some of your carb based calories, stopping natural absorption. Again, it’s not uncommon. Supplements like this have been around since the days of the Atkins Diet.

But in part because there are so many carb blocking supplements, there are quite a few that do not work, just scamming you out of your hard earned money, because most people won’t notice the difference. After all, if you don’t follow a low carb diet, then those companies can just blame you for their failure. Question is, is TheraSlim one of the exceptions?

Key Ingredients Used

Phase 2 white kidney bean – Phase 2 is a patented form of the white kidney bean that is supposedly clinically proven to block carbs, therefore helping you to lose weight when combined with a low carb diet. Unlike other products, TheraSlim has about 1000mg, meaning that even though technically, Phase 2 has not been proven through clinical studies, it has enough that it could theoretically promote results.

Fennel seed powder – Fennel seed powder is a natural fiber that can improve cholesterol levels and help you to improve bowel regularity at the same time. But it does not actually promote weight loss.

Conclusion

TheraSlim pushes itself as a natural and easy way to block carbs and therefore improve the effects of your low carb diet. And while technically, there are no clinically proven carb blockers (because scientists haven’t really conducted many studies), Phase 2 has received quite a few positive reviews, especially in amounts above about 500mg. TheraSlim has 1000mg, more than enough to cover that need.

TheraSlim does not technically have any other weight loss ingredients. But nonetheless, it looks promising, and if you are on that particular path, it’s worth checking out.

Slimgenics Reviews

Does Slimgenics Really Work?

Slimgenics

The Slimgenics weight loss program, previously known as Slim 4 Life, is marketed in a few select states, and while there is a site, you have to go in for personal consultations with licensed salesmen. There is no buying online, and Slimgenics does not provide a solid or even an average price, claiming that prices vary between individuals. But this doesn’t mean that you cannot find out how much you will be paying beforehand.

How Much Does Slimgenics Cost?

Slimgenics does not reveal the price, hoping that you will go in for a consultation with what are reported to be high pressure salesmen. But before you even consider Slimgenics, if you live in one of a few select states, you should consider customer reviews and often customer complaints from consumers who are understandably not happy about paying over $2000 a month for a lot of meal replacements and a little bit of guidance on “grocery store foods.” Most of the focus is on the prepackaged supplements that Slimgenics can provide.

Pieces Slimgenics Sells You

Slimgenics sells prepackaged foods, alpha slim carb blockers, omega fatty acid supplements, and what is called a Pura-Slim Metabolizer. With all of these required supplements, it’s no wonder Slimgenics is so expensive. And interestingly enough, the ingredients in these supplements are not specified.

Should You Buy Slimgenics?

Slimgenics makes broad claims about amazing weight loss results with a diet based on sustainable foods and sustainable eating habits. But as it turns out, Slimgenics is a prepackaged meal plan focused mostly on meal replacements such as protein bars, shakes, and other expensive options that are ultimately unsustainable. The number of complaints is not at all surprising, though of course there are some limited success stories.

Sensoril Reviews

Does Sensoril Really Work?

Sensoril Reviews

Sensoril comes from the natural plant Ashwagandha, and it’s currently patented by the company Natreon. Sensoril is described as an anti-stress solution that just so happens to control cortisol, thereby helping you to lose weight. And it also happens to improve immune health, mental clarity, and quite a few other things according to ads. So what’s so special about Ashwagandha, the only ingredient in Sensoril?

History of Ashwaghanda

Technically Ashwagandha has been used for years in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Some have used it to reduce stress, improve sleep, and improve mental alertness. Some have used it to fight chronic fatigue, dehydration, bone weakness, muscle weakness and tension, thirst, loose teeth, and emaciation as well as constipation. But it has never traditionally been used to promote weight loss.

In more recent years, some have tried to use it to treat more severe problems like tuberculosis, Parkinson’s disease, bone cancer, bipolar disorder, diabetes, and improving the health of patients undergoing chemotherapy. But few studies have emerged to prove that Ashwagandha or by extension, Sensoril promotes any of these benefits. So what clinical studies is Sensoril talking about?

Sensoril is Clinically Proven

Technically, Sensoril is clinically proven. Certain organizations have tested it in the specific treatment of mild bipolar disorder and other mood and anxiety disorders. It has been clinically proven to reduce the severity of those given disorders, and it seems to function without any serious side effects. But it has never been clinically proven to do anything else.

Does Sensoril Promote Weight Loss?

No, Sensoril has never been clinically proven to promote any weight loss results. It follows a long string of products that seem to think that the common consumer doesn’t know any better. Sensoril seems to think that you’ll believe anything they say, like when makers say that Sensoril will control cortisol levels and therefore help you to lose more weight. Cortisol products never work, and a few were shut down by the FTC for these exact claims.

Conclusion

You can certainly use Sensoril if you want. It’s not going to kill you, using only one rather innocuous ingredient. But Sensoril’s lack of any clinically proven ingredients shows that Sensoril will not show any results. If you want to get a mood lifter or something to complement certain other medications you are already taking, then great. But Sensoril should never be used for weight loss.

SudaTonic Reviews

Does SudaTonic Really Work?

SudaTonic Reviews

If you go to the SudaTonic website, of course you see a beautiful woman on the front page. She makes you want to know what SudaTonic is and how it works. And when SudaTonic focuses on its spa origins, it makes it sound even more appealing and effective.

SudaTonic supposedly uses infrared heat, helping you to stimulate metabolism and “sweat it out” to remove toxins and other harmful substances, because “most people don’t sweat enough.” Yes, it makes it pretty obvious that the idea behind SudaTonic is to eliminate water weight, which is not at all sustainable. But it sounds good just like the regular body wraps generally do.

But SudaTonic combines the heat infrared approach with special creams. So what is it about those creams that supposedly burns fat?

SudaTonic Ingredients

SudaTonic focuses on a number of seaweeds that supposedly help you to burn fat and increase metabolism. But when used externally, there is nothing that suggests that SudaTonic has any positive effect at all with these particular ingredients.

SudaTonic Pros

• Can be a relaxing spa treatment
• The creams have a pleasant and relaxing smell

SudaTonic Cons

• Does not have any clinically proven ingredients
• Can be extremely expensive at about $150 a treatment
• Can only be dispensed in certain spas
• Can cause dehydration and highly temporary weight loss results

SudaTonic Conclusion

SudaTonic supposedly helps you to achieve powerful and clinically proven results. Sellers talk about all of its powerful fat burning and detoxifying effects. But it does not actually have a clinically proven approach. And it can be highly damaging to the wrong person.
