Hypoxi Reviews

Does Hypoxi Really Work?

Hypoxi Reviews

Hypoxi is introduced as a body sucking and contouring machine. It creates a sucking action to help you to increase blood flow through fatty areas, and it requires you to move at the same time, because obviously, movement is essential to weight loss and fat burning results. It seems to be a low intensity approach, and many spend hundreds per session, adding up to thousands every month. But Hypoxi promises to provide quick and easy results, with the use of multiple machines of course.

What Machines Are Available?

Trainer S120 – The Trainer S120 supposedly targets the legs, glutes, and hips by sucking on those areas of course. It uses low pressure suction, high pressure compression, and exercise all at the same time. But the first 2 elements have not actually been proven to add any benefits, and the training seems to be too low intensity to actually promote weight loss.

Trainer L250 – This trainer targets the legs and glutes from different angles, using vacuum pressure combined with cycling to target fatty deposits. But again, the intensity of the actual workout can be a problem.

Hypoxi Dermology – The final machine, this is not actually a fat burning machine, but rather a way to help you to get firmer skin. Again, there is nothing to prove that this particular approach actually works.

Conclusion

Hypoxi has a number of different approaches, and it sounds good. It better be considering the expensive price tag. But unfortunately, Hypoxi does not actually have a valid approach, let alone one worth that much. There are quite a few complications associated with Hypoxi, and it may not even be safe.

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control Reviews

Does Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control Really Work?

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control Reviews

Just when I thought that nothing could really be any worse, somebody presents Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control. I’ve seen products that use exotic sounding ingredients that ironically don’t promote weight loss. But you don’t recognize them, so maybe you won’t notice.

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control makes it so obvious it’s ridiculous! Yes, it uses one weight loss ingredient, and yes, things like homeopathic medicine could be considered to be worse, diluting ingredients down to nothing but water. But 2mg? That should be obvious.

Why 2mg is NOT Enough

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control tries to explain its 2mg dose by saying that its Max-Phase Phaseolamin is just that concentrated. But truth is, it is not possible to concentrate an ingredient in such a way that 2mg would ever be enough! Yes, technically ingredients like yohimbine only require about 10mg. But Yohimbine has never been clinically proven to promote weight loss, just serious side effects like heart attacks and strokes.

Technically, phaseolus vulgaris in any form has never been clinically proven to promote any weight loss results. But then again, consumers seem to like it, which is why we even consider it to be a possibility. But there is no ingredient that works with only 2mg, including Max-Phase Phaseolamin. On the upside, it’s unlikely to cause side effects.

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control is NOT a Miracle Diet Pill

Yes, it sounds good. But there’s a reason why Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control does not present any studies or science. There are no studies that would support Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control’s ridiculous assertions! Technically, there are no studies that prove the effectiveness of this ingredient in any amount. But Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control goes overboard in the ridiculous.

4 Day Diet Reviews

Does 4 Day Diet Really Work?

4 Day Diet Reviews

The way I figure it, the 4 Day Diet is like the P90X of diets. You’re not going to have to pull out the Aspercreme or hot pads any time soon. But like P90X, the 4 Day Diet supposedly changes things every so many days to make sure that in this case you don’t get bored, and like P90X, I’m sure that the idea is also to keep your metabolism going at a steady rate so that your body doesn’t get too used to one routine.

Yes, other diets have hundreds of different recipes. But who has time to plot out so many recipes and then buy so many foods each week! I don’t. And who wants to eat the “variety” of cardboard like prepackaged food. I don’t. But that’s not why the 4 Day Diet was created.

The Idea Behind the 4 Day Diet

The idea is that if your mouth gets bored, you get bored and then you stop dieting. You go back to your old eating habits, because as monotonous as your old habits might have been, you liked the foods. And you’ve created this image in your head that diet food has to taste bad.

Ian K Smith MD focuses on changing your diet every 4 days. It supposedly helps you to avoid food triggers, get rid of temptations and cravings, and fight the other issues that might hold you back from actually seeing results while also improving your health. The 4 Day Diet supposedly helps you to deal with the many psychological factors of dieting, using things like affirmation to reach your goals and “thinking like a thin person.” But to me, that just sounds like a bunch of hyped up crap.

What Do You Eat?

The 4 Day Diet comes with phases including a detox phase, which goes to the extremes of health. Second, it transitions you, third it focuses on protein, fourth it allows you to eat junk food in moderation, and so on.

All 7 stages seem to focus on the extreme diet type foods that most hate. And while technically this is good for you, it defeats the whole point of using a diet that supposedly changes every 4 days. It uses the same types of foods, and the recipes are extremely similar. Some just come in a slightly different order.

Will the 4 Day Diet Work?

Yes, it will work. Dr. Smith did his job in creating a healthy diet made up of foods that actually work. But it isn’t exactly what was promised. The 4 Day Diet seems too similar to just about every other diet that the 4 Day Diet calls bad. So while I’m not discounting its approach, I was expecting something different.

ALRI Jungle Warfare Reviews

Does ALRI Jungle Warfare Really Work?

ALRI Jungle Warfare Reviews

ALRI Jungle Warfare popped up sometimes in the 90’s, and for some reason, it never really made a huge debut. It gained a little fame here and there, and then that was it. Its popularity petered out, and since then, it has stayed around. But it never got as big as manufacturers hoped when comparing ALRI Jungle Warfare to anabolic steroids and claiming that it would give you extreme results and benefits. But you would think that if ALRI Jungle Warfare had the amazing ingredients it described, people would automatically run to buy ALRI Jungle Warfare. So let’s take a look.

Key Ingredients Used

Conjugated (-)3,4-divanillyltetrahydrofuran – Sometimes described as a powerful testosterone booster, there are no clinical studies that actually back this up. There is nothing that proves or even suggests that this ingredient has any muscle building, fat burning, or testosterone boosting effect.

Aded (17-alkyl-4-delta-5a-dehydro-etiocholan-1,6-den-3-one) – I have not been able to identify this ingredient. Yes, you would assume that it would boost testosterone or something. But outside of sites trying to sell ALRI Jungle Warfare, it doesn’t exist.

Conjugated linoleic acid – CLA has been used as a popular fat burner in the recent past. But it has not actually been clinically proven to reduce cholesterol, which it should do. It has definitely not been proven to burn fat.

Conclusion

ALRI Jungle Warfare has tried, hard, to gain a little popularity and take a little piece of the puzzle. But as far as I can tell, ALRI Jungle Warfare does not actually help you to see results, and it does not actually help you to lose weight. ALRI Jungle Warfare brags about a lot of different things. But if you bother with it, you are just wasting your time.

SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner Reviews

Does SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner Really Work?

SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner Reviews

The SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner description sounds just like any other SlimQuick product. It focuses on the “6 reasons why women have trouble losing weight”, and it supposedly helps you to burn fat, suppress appetite, and get all of the revolutionary weight loss results that you deserve. But SlimQuick doesn’t exactly have a great history of success, and I suspect for that reason that SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner is just the same.

Key Ingredients Used

Caffeine – Caffeine has been used to burn fat and promote healthy weight loss benefits. It seems to increase energy as well. But it doesn’t work unless you are using at least 400mg.

Green Tea – Green tea has been used to burn fat, and it seems to promote energy and antioxidant benefits along the way. But green tea does not actually work again unless you use at least 400mg.

Rhodiola rosea – Rhodiola rosea has been used to increase energy naturally. But it doesn’t promote weight loss no matter how much you use or don’t use.

Chaste tree extract – Chaste tree extract has been used to fight the symptoms of PMS. This is actually a first for SlimQuick products, using ingredients made especially for women.

Soy extract – Soy extract can help you to mimic the effects of estrogen, and it can help you to reduce the symptoms of PMS among other things. Again, this is a first for SlimQuick.

Brown seaweed – Brown seaweed extract has been used to promote a stimulant free thermogenic effect in some, also promoting healthy antioxidant benefits. But it has only been tested on rats.

Uva ursi – Uva ursi can be used to increase the detoxifying effect, sometimes also getting rid of excess water weight. But it requires certain combinations to promote long term results that SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner does not have.

Phytosterols – Plant sterols are generally used to lower cholesterol when taken in certain amounts on a daily basis. But it does not actually promote weight loss.

L-theanine – L-theanine is generally used to feed healthy muscles and increase muscle mass. But it does not actually build muscle or promote weight loss.

Conclusion

SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner supposedly promotes weight loss specifically in women who struggle with difficult hormones. But while SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner does have some clinically proven weight loss ingredients, it does not have the clinically proven amounts of those, and most of the ingredients in SlimQuick Ultra Fat Burner don’t promote weight loss at all.

Reveal Extreme Reviews

Does Reveal Extreme Really Work?

Reveal Extreme Reviews

Reveal Extreme is a weight loss accelerator. What isn’t? Technically, there are plenty of diet pills that don’t accelerate weight loss. But everybody say their product does anyway. So what makes Reveal Extreme different?

For one thing, it has 3 different formulas. I’ve only found one major source of information. So I’m not entirely clear on what Reveal Extreme is supposed to do and why all of these formulas matter. But considering the descriptions including ”weight loss accelerator blend”, “stress supporting blend”, and “CLA omega 3, 6, 9 blend”, only one of these “blends” is actually targeted at providing you with weight loss results. So let’s look at the supposed weight loss blend.

Key Ingredients Used

Emblic myrobalan caffeine – Caffeine is commonly used to burn fat, and it has been used to increase natural energy levels. It burns fat if you use the clinically proven amounts. But Reveal Extreme doesn’t as you might guess.

Ashwagandha – Ashwagandha has been used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat things like chronic fatigue, dehydration, bone weakness, and muscle tension. But there’s nothing in there about weight loss.

White willow bark – White willow bark has been used mostly to reduce inflammation, pain, and sometimes the side effects of caffeine.

Yohimbex – Yohimbe is a common sexual aphrodisiac that has been used to supposedly improve libido. But it has never actually been clinically proven to promote weight loss. It just causes heart attacks and strokes according to reports.

Vinerol – Most commonly described as a sexual enhancement supplement, a lot like yohimbine, vinerol doesn’t actually promote any weight loss results.

Conclusion

Reveal Extreme makes claims about helping you to get some amazing weight loss results with 3 different formulas. Except, oh no, 2 of the formulas aren’t even described as weight loss formulas, let alone do those formulas have any clinically proven weight loss ingredients. The one weight loss formula has a few.

But it does not have the clinically proven amounts, and there are a lot of unnecessary side effects connected to it. Do you really want to deal with Reveal Extreme? I wouldn’t think so. But then I’m just assuming.

Contrave Reviews

Does Contrave Really Work?

Contrave Reviews

Contrave is currently the third prescription to be turned down by the FDA in 2010 alone! Ever since scientists tried to combine prescriptions Fenfluramine and Phentermine (fen phen) to get a safer and more effective weight loss solution, which obviously did not turn out so well, the FDA has been, some would say, overly cautious about what it allows onto the weight loss market, and thank god for that. The US market was able to avoid Acomplia, a dangerous substance meant to control cigarette cravings and weight loss at the same time because of the caution.

And maybe Contrave is not so bad. Most diet pills that have been turned down had prescription Phentermine, which is bad. But Contrave is made up of 2 prescriptions known as naltrexone SR and bupropion SR, not the same thing.

What Do the Ingredients in Contrave Do?

First, Naltrexone has been used to help addicts and alcoholics to fight the cravings. When I think about this, I think of all the treatments used to help addicts get off crack or meth. Oftentimes, these “medications” are just as dangerous and just as addicting, and many become dependent on the new drug. But who really knows. I do know that Naltrexone has been connected to some side effects of its own. But is obesity actually worse?

Bupropion on the other hand is more commonly known as Wellbutrin, a common anti-depressant that has technically been used to promote weight loss as a secondary benefit. Wellbutrin is most commonly used to treat mood disorders. Again, Bupropion has been associated with quite a few side effects ironically including panic attacks, depression, anxiety, mania, and all of the other things it is supposed to treat. But neither of these formulas have been FDA approved for weight loss. So why would you want to risk it?

Why Was Contrave Rejected?

As discussed before, the FDA claims that all 3 prescriptions turned down in 2010 were rejected due to side effects. Frankly, I think it should have been rejected due to the results or lack thereof. In 56 weeks, which is about 14 months (1 year 2 months), subjects only lost 20-23 pounds with an average starting weight of about 223 pounds. With that weight in mind, subjects should have lost that much in 1-2 months!

But while some seem to dumb the side effects down, only mentioning nausea, there are quite a few other side effects that have to be considered, and the studies are relatively limited. Most FDA officials seem to believe that the bad outweighs any good. Many believe that it will ruin the heart.

Should You Use Contrave?

When reading to reviews, I skip down to the bottom all the time, and why not. The conclusion has all you really need to know. The results with Contrave are extremely small with most losing 5-10% of their body weight in 14 months! You should lose that much in about 1-2 months with a healthy diet and exercise plan. Critics complain about what could be serious damage to the heart, and it is a perfectly legitimate concern. It was rejected by the FDA for a reason.

SomerSweet Reviews

Does SomerSweet Really Work?

SomerSweet Reviews

Created by Suzanne Somers, many middle aged even menopausal women seem to think that SomerSweet must be the answer to maintaining a healthy and beautiful body. Yes, you could technically get a pretty big box of artificial sweetener at the grocery store for about $5 or around there. But it seems so much more appealing to buy the Suzanne Somers approach for $20!

SomerSweet can be used in everything from cookies to tea to your favorite dessert or a dinner that require some kind of sweet additive. But what about the studies?

What Artificial Sweeteners Do

Artificial sweeteners promise to cut calories, etc. which is why so many diet sodas, etc. use other artificial sweeteners. But as it turns out, artificial sweeteners are clinically proven to increase your risk of obesity and make you gain weight! Why would it possibly do this? Because artificial sweeteners with their extremely sweet taste and low calorie count actually reeducate your body and cannot be properly digested by the body in the first place.

Is SomerSweet Any Different?

SomerSweet is made up of many of the most common artificial sweeteners, not Splenda or anything like that. Even if it were made up of Splenda, I would think that it might actually end up causing weight gain, a higher risk of obesity, etc., because the reeducation process and problem is the same. The body gets an extremely taste minus all the calories and learns to associate that sweet taste with a lower calorie count automatically.

Does SomerSweet Promote Weight Loss?

SomerSweet is sometimes used to replace sugar in certain foods. But it does not actually promote weight loss at this time. Unfortunately, the ingredients in SomerSweet have never been clinically proven to have any positive results. And considering the research, it would be more likely to cause problems than anything else.

SlimTs Reviews

Does SlimTs Really Work?

SlimTs

It has been coming for a while, companies have been introducing SlimTs for women or the equivalent thereof for years. But SlimTs is the ultimate instant slimming solution for men. It is made from spandex, and while SlimTs recommends that you go a size smaller, SlimTs is supposedly “not constricting” fitting under many other garments.

According to the main webpage and all of the “as seen on TV” infomercials, SlimTs can trim your problem areas, eliminating pounds and inches from the waist and flattening away bulges and beer bellies.

SlimTs comes in sizes ranging from small to extra-large, and considering the fact that companies have done this for women for years, it’s not particularly surprising that a product has now come out for men. And it’s not all that different except for the fact that SlimTs would also ideally constrict any moobs that men might have to go along with the excess belly fat.

So realistically, you’ll find that yes, it will temporarily solve your vanity issues, at least in certain problem areas, and it may look good under your shirt. But then again, it’s not a long term solution. You cannot wear that to the beach, and realistically, if you depend too much on it, you may actually end up gaining weight and therefore having a bigger problem than you started with.

One of the best reasons to get rid of belly fat is to improve heart health. But SlimTs does not actually get rid of belly fat, it does not actually help you to lose weight or fix other problem areas, and it definitely does not improve heart health.

There are actually other men’s slimming undershirts, and most look more like a normal undershirt again with no sagging collars, no coming untucked, and no bunching. And there are others that are a bit cheaper.

Arsenal-X Reviews

Does Arsenal-X Really Work?

Arsenal-X

Arsenal-X keeps it pretty simple. It is described as a formula that promotes extreme energy levels and intense muscle strength. Some people may want to hear something about “extreme fat burning” or maybe appetite suppression. But it gives you a basic idea of what

Key Ingredients Used

Vitamin B12 – Vitamin B12 has been used as a major B vitamin in most health and weight loss supplements, supposedly fighting fatigue. But it doesn’t actually promote weight loss

Vitamin B6 – Vitamin B6 is like Vitamin B12. It has been used in most major supplements. But it does not actually promote weight loss.

Caffeine – Caffeine has been used to increase energy, and it also seems to promote a thermogenic fat burning effect. But it does not work unless you use at least 400mg.

Yohimbine bark extract – Yohimbine is a natural aphrodisiac that some use to increase sexual desire in men. It has never been proven to promote any weight loss related benefits. But it can cause heart attacks, strokes, renal failure, and kidney damage.

L-tyrosine – L-tyrosine has been used to support healthy lean muscle mass. But it doesn’t actually build muscle or promote weight loss.

Green tea leaf – Green tea leaf has been used to increase energy, promote thermogenic fat burning (because of its caffeine), and promote antioxidant benefits at the same time. But it does not promote weight loss unless you use at least 400mg.

Cinnamon twig – Cinnamon twig has been commonly used to control blood sugar levels, therefore helping you to control cravings. But it doesn’t actually promote any weight loss results.

Galangal rhizome – More commonly known as “Chinese ginger”, this can help you to control stomach upset. But it doesn’t actually promote weight loss.

White willow bark – Used as a natural aspirin, this is typically combined with caffeine to fight the side effects. But it does not actually promote weight loss.

Eleuthero root – Eleuthero root has been used to promote a feeling of wellbeing and weight loss at the same time. But it requires at least 400mg.

Gingko biloba leaf – Gingko biloba is mostly used to increase energy and improve natural brain function. But it does not actually promote fat burning or weight loss.

Ginger root – Ginger root, the more common ginger root, is also used to improve digestive function and stop stomach upset. But it does not actually promote weight loss

Xanthinol nicotinate – It has been used to support healthy glucose metabolism, mental energy, concentration and attention, and support short term memory.

Guggul gum extract – Sometimes used to increase lean muscle mass, this can thereby increase natural metabolism.

Cayennne pepper – Cayenne pepper is commonly used to promote a slight thermogenic effect. But it only promotes a slight effect.

Conclusion

Arsenal-X supposedly promotes powerful energy and muscle strength. But there is not enough to substantiate any of these claims. Unfortunately, while Arsenal-X does have some clinically proven ingredients, it does not have the clinically proven amounts. Go figure.
