Does God’s Diet Really Work?

The divine intervention diets are always, at the very least, interesting. God’s Diet comes from Dr. Gault-McNemee of New Mexico, who supposedly spent years of her life developing this specialized diet plan that follows “god’s” rules, figuring there had to be a way to lose weight and feel satisfied at the same time.
Like many of her patients, Dr Gault-McNemee struggled with her weight, and she wanted to find a solution. But diets didn’t work and diet pills were just as ineffective, until she made a lifestyle change, which is what you need to do in order to lose weight. But it makes you wonder, what is “god’s” dieting solution?
The Rules of “God’s Diet”
It’s simple and not so simple at the same time. The idea is that if you can’t pick it, pluck it, or scale it, don’t eat it. In other words, if God didn’t create it (no prepackaged foods), you can’t eat it. God’s Diet focuses on meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, grains, and nuts, and it sounds a lot like a few other “natural” diets I’ve seen.
It’s Not Complex
This is one of the main selling points of God’s Diet. Of course it’s not complicated! You eat fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins! But at the same time, try applying that to real life. Try going out to a restaurant or even to family dinner. This whole natural living thing can become extremely hard extremely fast.
But Will You Lose Weight?
If you follow this diet, of course you’ll lose weight! It’s low calorie foods, no fillers or preservatives, and “god’s” food. I’ve seen some people lose as much as 100 pounds or more with diets like this. This does not mean that you should use it. This particular diet is too hard for most people. But it is productive.
Can Anybody Follow God’s Diet?
Again, there are some people who do it. Obviously, the doctor who created God’s Diet did it. But most do not have the willpower to keep up. Don’t feel bad if you are one of these people. It changes your lifestyle in more ways than one. But just know that it may not be for you.
