Does Phenocerin Really Work?

Phenocerin claims that you can lose weight and achieve all the results you are looking for. They claim that Phenocerin will finally help you to burn fat, suppress appetite, and lose weight with the ultimate fat burning formula and the “amazing weight loss discovery of the year.” They claim that it is now available without a prescription. But what ingredients would be so powerful as to warrant these claims?
Ingredients Used
Hoodia-hoodia has been hyped in the media on news programs and Oprah. However, had they done any research at all, they would have known that hoodia has actually been disproven in every major study. They tried to patent a form. But being that the original never worked, it failed. And then the South African government made it illegal to export hoodia from South Africa in the first place, the only place in which hoodia gordonii actually grows.
Chromium picolinate-meant to control and regulate blood sugar levels to keep them from randomly spiking and then falling, chromium has been used successfully in combination with certain other ingredients to promote weight loss. However, on its own the effect is minor at best. It generally requires about 200mcg.
Kola nut-a natural appetite suppressant, this typically requires over 1000mg to produce results
Guarana-used as a natural energy supplement, it is not effective in actually promoting weight loss without both damiana and yerba mate
Grapefruit-a natural superfruit, this is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and other powerful nutrients meant for various purposes. It has been the subject of the infamous grapefruit diet. But when you eat just one food in general you will lose weight. It does not mean it has some magical weight loss powers.
Chinese ginseng-otherwise known as Asian ginseng, this has been shown to promote a greater energy and otherwise fat loss through thermogenic fat burning. It is characterized by the presence of ginsenosides, and it has been shown to possibly promote fat loss if used in the right amounts.
Caffeine-It has been shown to produce a powerful thermogenic effect in the body if used in the right amounts. However, it also comes with the classic side effects of caffeine.
Gymnema sylvestre-meant to control blood sugar levels for the most part, this can promote more weight loss in certain combinations. However, on its own, the results are not as significant as you might hope.
Chickweed-used in natural medicine in general and for various purposes, this particular herb has nothing to do with weight loss
Almond nut-in its original form, almonds are known for a bitter taste due to cyanide content. However, almond nut has never been known, in either form to promote weight loss.
Bladderwrack-rich in iodine, this has been said to be good for the thyroid. However, unless you have a thyroid disorder, it won’t make a big difference, and if you do, you need medical help, not iodine.
Conclusion
This formula is poor at best. The only ingredients that do promote weight loss are basically caffeine, and the rest of the ingredients have nothing to do with it at all. They are fruits that have antioxidants, but they do not burn fat. They are ingredients that are just unrelated in general. So all in all, we would recommend finding something else.
