Does Skinny Fast Really Work?

Skinny Fast wants the consumers to believe that it will deliver “amazing results” from its “five proven ingredients.” This isn’t a staggering claim for the weight loss supplement market but its merits are something worth exploring.
Ingredients Used
Chitosan-coming from crustaceans, this can block a certain amount of fat content from your body’s absorption. But it is measured in percentages and fairly questionable
L-carnitine-a natural amino acid, there are many different ideas and advertisements about this. But it has not actually been proven to promote weight loss.
Citrimax garcinia cambogia extract-typically requiring about 1500mg, this can produce a certain fat burning and weight loss effect. However, it’s more effective when combined with gymnema sylvestre and chromium.
Bitter orange citrus aurantium fruit extract-a formula including the active ingredient known as synephrine, this has been pushed as the alternative to ephedrine. However, in this diluted form, you don’t necessarily get the powerful effects you are looking for. It would depend in part on the concentration of synephrine actually in the ingredient listing
Chromium as chromium arginate-meant to control and regulate blood sugar levels to keep them from randomly spiking and then falling, chromium has been used successfully in combination with certain other ingredients to promote weight loss. However, on its own the effect is minor at best. It generally requires about 200mcg.
Conclusion
Most of the ingredients that the Skinny Fast formula boasts have no clinical relevance to weight loss. The only ingredient worth mentioning is Citrimax which is an effective fat burner but only when combined with other ingredients. None of the elements necessary to maximize Citrimax’s potential are evident in this blend. Skinny Boost does retail for as low as $25. While this is comparatively cheap for a dietary supplement it seems like a waste of money to us, since there is no proof that this product will aid you in your weight loss goals. This anonymous consumer states it best; “I guess the name suckered me in. I felt more energy but only lost about four pounds. I don’t recommend Skinny Fast.”
