Does Ultimate Trim Really Work?

Ultimate Trim is a weight loss supplement that claims to help you lose weight by overcoming four main weight loss barriers. Those barriers, according to Ultimate Trim, are: emotional eating, lack of energy, hunger, and not seeing results. All of those individually or combined can make losing weight hard to do. However, can the ingredients of Ultimate Trim truly help you overcome all of those? According to the Ultimate Trim website it’s formula is patented to provide natural weight loss.
Ingredients Used
Caffeine-a powerful thermogenic fat burner, caffeine can help you to achieve results, and sometimes it is combined with things like antioxidants depending on the ingredient.
Caralluma fimbriata-used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine, this has been used for many common ailments. For weight loss, if you have more than 1000mg, it will naturally suppress appetite.
Green tea leaf extract-a form of caffeine, green tea can also give you certain antioxidant benefits. It is rich in caffeine and can therefore burn more fat. But of course, you have to have the clinically proven amounts.
Cocoa extract-extracted from the chocolate bean, this can provide you with the known antioxidant benefits. But it does not directly promote weight loss results.
Cayenne fruit extract-cayenne pepper is a common spice. It has been used to create a thermogenic effect due to the spicy taste. But it does not promote significant results like you would see with something like green tea.
Slimaluma-a patented form of caralluma fimbriata, you still need to use about 1000mg. But if you do, it can have potentially powerful results.
Senna leaf-a common laxative, senna has also been used in some cleanses. But on its own, it is more harmful than helpful. You have to combine it with other cleansing ingredients.
Chamomile flower-used as a relaxant and sleep aid, this has not been associated with weight loss results
Peppermint leaf-used like ginger, this will calm an upset stomach, and of course it has been used for its pleasant aroma. But it does not promote weight loss results.
Barberry-a natural superfruit, this is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and other powerful nutrients meant for various purposes.
Cinnamon bark-this has been used to control natural blood glucose levels, which can help some bodybuilders to stop cravings. But it does not directly contribute to weight loss results.
Fennel seed-a natural fiber that helps to support the GI tract health, this does not promote fat burning, appetite suppression, or other weight loss results
Ginger root-used for upset stomachs, digestive problems, and motion sickness, this does not actually promote weight loss.
Licorice root-used for upset stomachs, digestive problems, and motion sickness, this does not actually promote weight loss.
Milk thistle seed-milk thistle has been used for cleansing benefits. But on its own, one should note that its main action is as a diuretic. Diuretics promote temporary weight loss at best, weight rebound, and they can dehydrate you causing some side effects.
Passion fruit-mostly used as a sleep aid, passion fruit is not commonly known to promote weight loss results.
Rhubarb stem-a laxative, some cleansers have used this as part of the bigger picture. But on its own, it can weaken the elimination process and cause more harm to the body than good.
Conclusion
In the end, Ultimate Trim does not work. It has some potentially good ingredients. But Ultimate Trim does not bother using the clinically proven amounts, and it has been more connected to side effects than anything else. So obviously, we would not recommend using Ultimate Trim.
