Stomach ObesityObese people are under more and more pressure each day to loose weight by health officials and the government, obviously because being obese seriously hinders your life. It makes you more susceptible to dangerous medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. There are two kinds of obesity, pear shaped and apple shaped. Apple shaped obese people have what’s called stomach obesity, which is where the main concentration of excess fat is making them look like a round apple. This type of obesity can’t totally be solved by a good diet as the skin has lost most of its elasticity therefore once most of the weight it lost the skin will hang loose and then surgery is needed to remove the excess flab unless of course you want to keep it! I think stomach obesity is the worst looking of the two. Pear shaped obesity is where its not the stomach that is affected by obesity it is the hips and thighs, giving your body the shape of a well built pear! This type of obesity can require liposuction to get rid of the fat under the skin, but a lot of weight has to be lost before a consultant will use a general anaesthetic on you. Putting someone under the knife while morbidly obese is very dangerous and is only ever done in very rare circumstances. Stomach obesity is the more common of the two for unknown reasons. The older generation seem to have pear shaped obesity whereas the younger generation seem to suffer from stomach obesity. I feel the reasons are due to the diet changes over the years. Years ago people used to eat whole healthy foods but these days foods are pumped full of chemicals and additives which may be altering where we put our fat in our body. If this is true then the foods that we eat can possibly determine where we store our fat and can then be manipulated! Obesity is a nationwide and worldwide problem that needs to be sorted out as soon as possible or death rates and medical conditions will soar. Obesity is a genetically passable disease so if one member of your family has obesity then it isin the blood and the only way to prevent it from affecting you is to eat a balanced diet and get regular exercise and enjoy your happy healthy life!
